Tobermory and beyond

Tobermory is a 15 minute drive from the castle. It is the largest town on the island with a population of over 1,000. Formerly a major fishing port its sheltered harbour is now popular for yachts with important races bringing hundreds of boats into the harbour over the summer. Keep an eye out for ceileighs, concerts and live music festivals and performances occuring throughout the year. See Browns shop, An Tobar or Round and About for current information.

Visit the dairy farm at Sgriobruadh, watch cheese making and have a tour of the cheese factory or have a cup of tea in the Garden Barn. -Our neighbouring farm.
